Practice and case management software provides attorneys with a convenient method of effectively managing client and case information, including contacts, calendaring, documents, and other specifics by facilitating automation in law practices.
Case Management
If you aren’t using a case management system to manage your work, you should. One free and easy-to-use solution is called Credenza. It is made by Gown & Gavel, the same people who make Amicus Attorney. Credenza is a case management program that functions as an add-on to Microsoft Outlook. If you already spend a lot of time in Outlook, as a lot of lawyers do, this will allow you to manage all of your client matters (documents, phone calls, emails, appointments, tasks, research etc.) from within Outlook. A single version is free to use. You can find Credenza here: Credenza Case Management.
