The Wills Registry allows you to register information about your Will, called a Wills Notice, which records:
- name, sex, date of birth, and birthplace of the person who made the Will;
- where the original Will is located; and,
- the date the Will was executed (signed and witnessed).
You cannot register an actual copy of your Will with the Wills Registry, only a Notice of its existence and location. The Wills Registry is operated by the Vital Statistics Agency of the British Columbia Ministry of Health.
