Join us for a learning event on "Elder Abuse - What is it? How do we deal with it?" in partnership with the Granisle Better at Home! This learning event addresses the correlation between social isolation and abuse of older adults, types of abuse and indicators, risk factors, and strategies to deal with abuse. We discuss the importance of staying connected with others and introduce several resources that can assist older adults and concerned third parties in situations of elder abuse.
