As part of BC Seniors Week, in partnership with the Richmond Public Library, we are delivering a presentation on Frauds and Scams.

As of December 2024, in Canada, there were 49,432 reports of fraud processed, totaling 34,621 victims of fraud​ with a total of $638 Million lost.

This presentation introduces what frauds and scams are, common methods and schemes targeting Canadian seniors, safety strategies, and resources to consult if you or someone you know has been affected by frauds/scams.
