SFBC in Cmpbell River and Courtney-Comox

We're on the road! Linda Yauk presented on Frauds & Scams at the First Annual 55+ Health & Wellness EXPO in Comox and the Campbell River Recreation Centre. Thanks to Jennifer Poole (SSNVI) and Mary Catherine Williams (BCCRN) for organizing & hosting.

1. Frauds & Scams Presentation at the Campbell River Recreation Centre: Linda Yauk (SFBC Public Education & Outreach), Mary-Catherine Williams (BC Community Response Networks), Jennifer Poole (Senior Support North Vancouver Island).

2. 55+ Health & Wellness EXPO in Comox: Brennan Day (MLA Courtenay-Comox) with Linda Yauk at our resource table, where attendees learned about Seniors First BC’s programs and services.

3. 55+ Health & Wellness EXPO in Comox: Mary Catherine Williams (BCCRN-Regional Mentor for North Vancouver Island) and Linda Yauk at the BCCRN resource table. At the EXPO, we networked with many senior-serving organizations to share information and explore future collaborations.

SAIL is a confidential means for seniors to speak to a professional intake worker about issues that affect their well-being, receive information, or learn about our programs. Call 604-437-1940 or Toll-Free at 1-866-437-1940 Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm excluding statutory holidays. Language interpretation is available.
