July 7, 2026—The Importance of Staying Connected. At Kitsilano Neighbourhood House

Location: Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, 2305 West 7th Avenue, Vancouver

In partnership with Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, we are presenting for their Lunch & Learn session. Join us to learn more about "The Importance of Staying Connected: Preventing Social Isolation and Loneliness". This interactive presentation introduces the importance of staying connected. It discusses issues of social isolation and loneliness including risk factors, the correlation between social isolation and decreased well-being, and how we can do our part to stay connected with loved ones in our lives.

  • Presentation begins at 12:00 p.m.
  • Participants joining us for lunch should arrive at 11:00 a.m.
    • Menu: Lemon and Herb Chicken Thighs with Italian Pasta Salad
    • Cost: $9.00 (Payment can be made at the front desk upon arrival)
    • Includes a full meal, coffee/tea, dessert, and the presentation.
  • Participants attending only the presentation are welcome to arrive at 11:50 a.m. at no cost.
