SFBC's June Presentations

June was completely booked with presentations from our Public Education & Outreach team discussing Elder Abuse, Government Benefits for Older Adults, Advance Planning Tools, and Frauds & Scams prevention. Here is a sample.

1. Our new volunteer Sarah delivered a comprehensive presentation about Government Benefits for Older Adults at False Creek Community Centre.

2. On June 15th, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Linda Yauk discussed Elder Abuse with a group of seniors at Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility.

3. Kepler Rotheisler (Cedar Coast Law) volunteered his time to discuss Advance Planning tools (Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements) to a full house at Grandview Baptist Housing.

4. Linda Yauk joined the Surrey-Delta Metis Society with the Waceya Metis Society for their monthly luncheon to discuss frauds and scams.

Language interpretation is available.
