One-Time Top-Up to the Canada Housing Benefit Now Available

As of December 12, 2022, Canadians can now apply for the new one-time top-up of the Canada Housing Benefit. Intended to support low-income renters with the cost of renting, eligible individuals may receive a tax-free, one-time payment of $500. Applicants do not need to receive other housing benefits such as the Canada Housing Benefit.
