
Here’s what we’ve been up to in April!
1. Ryan Erwin (SFBC Staff Lawyer) gives another well-attended presentation on Advance Planning (Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements) at Deer Lake United Church, Burnaby.

2. The Orchid Club for Taiwanese Women invited us to present about Government Benefits for Older Adults in BC. Nighat Afsar (SFBC Legal Advocate) delivered the presentation in English with Mandarin interpretation by Xiaowei Li (SFBC Public Education).

3. Xiaowei Li hosted our resource table at UBC’s Dialogue on Healthy Aging Series, presented by Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Aging (UBC) and Providence Health Care. This event featured a special presentation: Asking the Big Questions: Finding Information About Death in Later Life with Dr. Nicole Dalmer, MLIS PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Aging and Society at McMaster University.
