SFBC at the 33rd annual SFU Gerontology - John K. Friesen Conference

Seniors First BC hosted an information table at the 33rd annual SFU Gerontology - John K. Friesen Conference. This year’s theme focused on Climate Change and Aging.

1. Angelina Gordon (Public Guardian & Trustee Office) with Marie-Noel Campbell (SFBC Executive Director).

2. Xiaowei Li and Linda Yauk (SFBC Public Education & Outreach) hosting our resource table.

3. Dr. Gloria Gutman, PhD, who developed the Gerontology Research Centre and Department of Gerontology at Simon Fraser University (SFU), speaking at the renaming ceremony from SFU Gerontology Research Centre to “Gloria Gutman Gerontology Research Centre.” With too many achievements to list, Gloria was also an active SFBC Board member and a strong supporter of the work SFBC does to respond and prevent elder abuse.
