Seniors First BC has continued to be active with presentations throughout July. We’ve discussed Elder Abuse, The Importance of Staying Connected, Frauds & Scams, Advance Planning, and Government Benefits for Older Adults at community centres, neighbourhood houses, libraries and seniors’ centres.
1. VPL – Firehall Branch hosted Seniors First BC for a presentation on Advance Planning Tools. Much appreciation to Kepler Rotheisler (Cedar Coast Law) for generously volunteering his time to give the presentation.
2. Linda Yauk (SFBC Public Education & Outreach) delivered a presentation on Elder Abuse to residents at Marigold Gardens in Burnaby.
Seniors First BC is a charitable, non-profit society that provides information, advocacy, and support to seniors across BC who are dealing with issues affecting their well-being.
