Hosted by the BC Association of Community Response Networks (BCCRNs), learn how seniors can protect their belongings and assets from crime! Sara Pon, Seniors First BC Staff Lawyer and Researcher, will discuss financial abuse as one of the most common forms of elder abuse and provide safety strategies and resources. After, Cpl. Vinh Ngo from the RCMP’s Federal Policing Prevention & Engagement will discuss the top fraud trends affecting seniors and how one can protect themselves.
