Our volunteers are an integral part of our team, helping to raise awareness about elder abuse and inform older adults of resources available through Public Education and Outreach workshops and events, as well as supporting the delivery of our services.  

 Benefits of volunteering:

• Learn about the law and seniors’ issues, as well as how to navigate resources and services for seniors.
• Enhance public speaking, community engagement, and outreach skills.
• Give back to the community and support a meaningful cause.

To be eligible to volunteer: 

• Minimum age 19+
• Fully proficient in English
• Be able to provide 2 references
• Complete a Criminal Record Check
• Must be available for training 
• Available at least 4 hours per month
• Assets: can speak languages other than English, previous public speaking experience
