Seniors First BC partners with many community organizations to deliver our presentations and host information tables. North Shore Keep Well Society organized a 5-part workshop series: “Navigating Transitions: Healthy Aging, Wellness & Emotional Well-Being” created by and for seniors to support healthy aging, independence, connection, and well-being. Seniors First BC presented for Part 5 of this series, which focused on elder abuse and fraud and scam prevention.
The City of Surrey is another wonderful partner and invited us to host a table at their South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre Open House on Oct. 27.
Thank you to all the behind-the-scenes organizers for these two very successful events!
1. Christine Miller (North Shore Keep Well Society), Linda Yauk (SFBC-Public Education & Outreach), and Helen Murphy (North Shore Keep Well Society). Helen discussed elder abuse and neglect while Linda talked about fraud and scam prevention.

2. Xiaowei Li and Elaine Chin engaged 100+ attendees at the Open House to share information about SFBC programs and services.
